Andrew has completed scoring the independent documentary Finding Kind. The film documents the efforts of the Kind Campaign, begun by director Lauren Parsekian and producer Molly Stroud, which seeks to reduce "girl-against-girl" crime and abuse. .This is an amazing movement, and anyone interested in finding out more about the Kind Campaign can head to their website: www.kindcampaign.com . Finding Kind is also produced by Tom Shadyac and Jack Osbourne.

BIO Andrew Skrabutenas, an up and coming film composer originally from
Palo Alto, California, has been composing steadily for both the Film and
Concert worlds since early High School. Currently, Andrew is based out
of Southern California.
Andrew began his musical studies with the piano, starting lessons at an
early age. Throughout his years of piano lessons, Andrew showed an
interest in composition that finally culminated in a full blown love of the art.
During High School, Andrew began studying composition with a member of
the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Faculty, Alexis Alrich.
In 2005, Andrew was accepted into the first ever Grammy Camp as a Film
Scoring participant. During his time at Grammy Camp, Andrew was exposed
to the inner workings of Film Music with talks and meetings with notable
members of the industry. At the end of the camp, a cue that Andrew had
written over the course of the week was recorded by a session orchestra on
the Newman Scoring Stage at 20th Century Fox.
In college, Andrew studied with Professors Chris Dobrian and Michael Dessen at the University of California, Irvine as a B.Mus in Composition.
Throughout his composing career, Andrew has consistently focused on scoring films, providing music for over 35 student and independent films in the past four years, as well as music for an Internet comedy series.
